You’ve seen it – the whimsical calligraphy on envelopes and prints – now learn hand lettering for yourself. Freelance calligrapher Kaley Olson will share her top tips in this popular SkillPop class. $30.


Live at the Mint: Charlotte Storytellers

Charlotte Storytellers returns to the Mint Museum with stories written in response to the museum’s special exhibitions. Free admission with cash bar available.

Charlotte Hornets: Yoga on the Court

Tony Bennett
Feb. 16 | Belk Theater | 7 p.m.

See legendary musical Tony Bennett take the stage at Belk Theater this month. With a long list of accomplishments and beloved songs spanning his more than 60 year career, you’re sure to hear a classic favorite. Tickets start at $58.

Kimmery Martin

Charlotte resident and author Kimmery Martin will celebrate the launch of her second book, The Antidote for Everything with a ticketed luncheon at Quail Hollow in conversation with Molly Grantham, followed by an evening event at Park Road Books.


Charity Designer Showhouse Sip and See

Before the Interior Design Society of Charlotte’s Charity Designer Showhouses opens to the public on March 14, see the three $1.6+M homes designed by 45 area interior designers a month early, plus mingle with designers and see room renderings by artist Jane Gianarelli. So You Think You Can Bark

Seven “pet-testants” will perform on stage for the chance to win over the judges, Morgan Fogarty, Travis Hancock, Sonja Gantt and Molly Stone-Sapir. All proceeds benefit Stand for Animals’ Medical Support Fund which directly assists dogs and cats in need of medical care and free spay neuter services.

Dancing with the Stars of Charlotte to Benefit the Pink House
Feb. 28 | Knight Theater | 7:30 p.m.

See local stars, paired with professional dancers, perform ballroom dance numbers for the chance to win titles like “biggest crowd pleaser” and “highest-scoring dancer.” The competition, emceed by WBTV’s Molly Grantham and NFL star Kurt Coleman, benefits Carolina Breast Friends.

Art With Heart 2020
Feb. 29 | Elder Gallery of Contemporary Art | 7-10 p.m.

Grab your girlfriends and head to Art with Heart to do good for Safe Alliance, which provides hope and healing to those impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault. The live and silent art auction has raised more than $1.9 million for the organization since its inception.
