Emmy Lou’s is putting the finishing touches on its Dilworth location, with a Dec. 19 opening targeted. Expect a cozy, neighborhood wine bar that realizes the vision of Alex Bridges and chef Andres Kaifer. The duo is also behind Customshop in the Elizabeth neighborhood. The new venture’s name is a nod to the longtime nickname of Bridges’ wife, Emma. Emmy Lou’s has transformed a 1,200-square-foot space at The Courtyard, a shopping center at 2400 Park Road. Open shelving melds metal and wood and will serve as a focal point. Refreshed seating creates intimate nooks. There’s a seven-seat bar, corner banquette and communal table. A patio will be used in warmer months.
