As summer comes to an end, rejoice with local chefs and restaurants at barbeques, festivals and block parties around the city and the state. Beer lovers luck out with an abundance of events showcasing resident breweries with plenty of beer pairing dinners and events for IPA Day, celebrated in August. There are two events that are benefiting nonprofit organizations that are noteworthy. The 2nd Annual Friends and Beerfest at Legion Brewing will donate proceeds to Cerebral Palsy research and Chef’s Best will raise money for Second Harvest Food Bank. Revel in the last of the summer sunshine at one of these fun local events below.
