As thousands of people are picking up the pieces from the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, several businesses around Charlotte are working to support those affected by the storm across the state.

Along with several nonprofit organizations accepting donations to provide food, water and other emergency supplies for victims, local restaurants, bars, boutiques and other businesses that have set up fundraisers and donation drop-offs to give back to the communities around North Carolina heavily hit by the storm. Customshop will hold a “Customshop for WNC” dining out night on Oct. 16, with 25 percent of sales going to BeLoved Asheville. Diners can also contribute to the cause via a donation line at the bottom their receipts now through Oct. 16.
