Culinary Dropout’s Charlotte restaurant marks the first piece of its East Coast expansion.

The brand by Sam Fox, a James Beard-nominated restaurateur, opens its first location here on Oct. 11. The 13,312-square-foot restaurant is situated on the ground floor in the East Tower of Vantage South End. It’s at 1120 S. Tryon St.

“The neighborhood has become a hot spot for young people, families and professionals, making it a prime location for Culinary Dropout,” Fox says.
