One of the first restaurants at Bowl at Ballantyne will debut this month.

Flower Child will open its second fast-casual store in the Carolinas on May 21 at 15210 Bowl St. in south Charlotte.

In 2019, the Phoenix-based chain opened its first location in the Carolinas at 1537 Camden Road in South End.

“We’re building on success from other stores and love all of the development happening in Ballantyne,” Sam Fox, founder of Fox Restaurant Concepts including Flower Child, told The Charlotte Observer on Wednesday. “We like to cluster our restaurants.”

Bowl at Ballantyne is a 20-acre project featuring more than 90,000 square feet of retail, a second apartment tower and new roads with a “Main Street” feel.
