A new Italian restaurant will go into the spot formerly occupied by Orto, which closed in December after less than a year of business in NoDa.

What’s happening: Opening the new, yet-to-be-named restaurant is Menagerie Hospitality Group, the team behind The Vintage Whiskey and Cigar Bar and The Wine Loft in South End. They’re targeting a summer opening.
