Amelie’s is moving its flagship bakery from Villa Heights into a new space in NoDa — the location it had planned to move into before the pandemic.

Why it matters: Since Amelie’s opened on North Davidson Street in 2008, the company has gradually expanded throughout the region. Now with locations in Rock Hill and Park Road Shopping Center, it’s grown into a household name that’s beloved for its macarons and salted caramel brownies.
