El Puro’s new chef recently released a new summer menu and lunch specials.

What to expect: The Costilla de Cerdo, is a Cuban and Southern fusion dish — ribs, served with BBQ sauce, yuca gratin and green papaya mango slaw.

  • They also added an Ensalada de Remolachas — charred beets, cheese crema, baby red spinach, candy walnuts and citrus vinaigrette.
  • To start, try the Tiradito de Camarones — shrimp, papaya cucumber relish, salmon roe and chili lime sauce.

The deal: On Tuesday-Fridays from 11am-4pm they have a $20 “prefix” lunch special, where you get a choice of one appetizer, an entree and dessert.
