CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Ten of Charlotte’s best chefs, pastry chefs and mixologists are heading to New York City to perform for a special dinner at Platform by the James Beard Foundation.

The talent representing the Queen City have been recognized by MICHELIN, James Beard and as leaders in their community.

Chefs Andres Kaifer at Customshop, Callan Buckles at Rada, Joe Kindred at Kindred and Hello Sailor, Pastry chef Faith Marley at Counter- and mixologist Colleen Hughes at Supperland were recognized by Michelin in the first guide of the American South in November 2025.
