Thanksgiving feels like a kind of Super Bowl of holiday cooking and eating. As much as we may love the time with family and friends, and planning expansive menus full of turkey, sides, and desserts, it can be stressful and exhausting.

One way to survive all the chaos that is the holiday season is to take a few shortcuts where we can. While there are some items on our table we simply will not compromise on – perhaps our grandma’s dressing or mac and cheese, there’s others we can consider outsourcing or cutting some corners on along the way. The best part is, everyone will still be thrilled, and the evening will still be a huge success. You’ll just have more time to enjoy it.

Chefs are no different than us, and despite cooking all day every day at their jobs, enjoy sometimes making things a little easier on themselves when it comes to the holidays.
