The owners of Customshop and Marina’s Tapas are opening a new wine bar in Dilworth: Emmy Lou’s.

Why it matters: Andres Kaifer and Alex Bridges announced they were opening the wine bar earlier this year, but it didn’t have a name until recently.

Context: Emmy Lou is what Bridges’ wife Emma was affectionately called by her great-grandmother growing up, according to a press release.

• “It’s an honor to name this dream and achievement after one of the most important people in my life,” she said in a statement.
• Kaifer and Bridges’ food stall in Optimist Hall, Marina’s, is named after Kaifer’s great-grandmother.
