Get ready to dance, eat and explore your way around town because Charlotte’s got a loaded lineup of fun festivals this year.

From longstanding local events to exciting new events, 2025 will be another year to stay booked and busy with community celebrations around the area. For the foodies, the music lovers and those wanting to check out Charlotte’s thriving art scene, here is a list of some of the biggest and boldest festivals coming to the Queen City area:

University City Wine Fest kicks off April 11 with a Wine on the Water paddleboat event with seatings 6-7:30 p.m. and 7:30-9 p.m. Tickets are $45 per person. The next day’s main event on April 12 from 1-6 p.m. features samples of more than 100 wines, cocktails, craft beers and ciders to taste while you stroll the boardwalk to live music and interactive entertainment. Tickets to that start at $35.
