One of the most popular new spots in Charlotte is the Bowl at Ballantyne. And, we finally had a chance to try Postino at the Bowl at Ballantyne. It’s one of the hottest wine cafes in town, and we certainly can see why. And, we’ll share our journey with you!

So, ever since the Bowl at Ballantyne opened over the last few months, we’ve watched closely as week after week fantastic new restaurants launch. I’ve had the pleasure of visiting the new location of Olde Mecklenberg Brewery, Honeysuckle Gelato and Flower Child, which were outstanding.

And, last week we tried to visit Postino at the Bowl at Ballantyne. However, we didn’t have a reservation and the wait was lengthy due to an event at The Amp. So, we decided to give it another go this week. And, this time, we planned ahead. We called on Wednesday. And, we were able to get a table for Sunday night. Woohoo!

Postino at the Bowl at Ballantyne is so much fun. It is definitely a place to come for a good time with a date or friends. It’s loud, but in a good way. And, the bar is fairly large. Plus, there’s an outdoor space with tables and umbrellas. I think that would be wonderful on a crisp Fall evening or Saturday afternoon.

And, for a spot known for wine, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Postino at the Bowl at Ballantyne had a pretty big menu. So, here’s what we decided on…
