Restaurateur Sam Fox is doubling down on Flower Child in the Charlotte market. His Phoenix-based Fox Restaurant Concepts opens its 3,555-square-foot restaurant at The Bowl at Ballantyne on May 21.

That fast-casual restaurant delivers a menu of made-from-scratch fare, including vegetarian and vegan, as well as gluten-free, keto and paleo diets. Fox says the brand fits into people’s lifestyles, which has spurred its growth.

“I think it’s healthy, it’s quick and it’s easy,” Fox says. “You can definitely see and feel and taste the difference when you come in.”
