Amélie’s French Bakery is headed to a Plaza Midwood space familiar with bread.

The Charlotte bakery will launch a wholesale artisan bread kitchen at 1511 Central Ave. this month.

Details: Lead bread maker, Joseph Feliz will guide the team. Jamie Prentiss, former Nova’s Bakery business development director, will oversee the wholesale side of the bakery. Amélie’s plans to offer retail bread service in all of its existing bakeries by the end of the year. It currently offers bread service to hospitality, hotel and retail brands.
