This South End wine bar has new owners and management.

The Menagerie Hospitality Group, led by local tech entrepreneur Daniel Weiss, has taken over The Wine Loft after 11 years.

It is located at 2201 South Blvd., on the ground floor of the Southborough office building.

Plans include a number of brand updates over the next 90 days. The Wine Loft will remain open during that process.

Those changes will be felt across the establishment in the look and feel, new small plates, an upgraded bar program and live music scheduled with local favorites.

“Every time guests come in over the next few months, they can expect to see something new,” says Weiss. “We’ve got a final destination in mind, but I can’t say much more right now.”

The goal is for those updates to be complete by early spring.

The Menagerie Hospitality Group recently announced plans for The Vintage Whiskey & Cigar Bar in South End. It will be located in a 3,300-square-foot space at 215 E. Worthington Ave., formerly the Iron Tribe Fitness location.
