Here’s a list of the most tasty dishes at Charlotte’s hottest new restaurants.
As your Agenda correspondent, it’s my job to eat out. And I take my job seriously, so I eat out more than any human ever should.
Dry Aged Ribeye ($23) at Bardo
You’re going to want to order another, but then you realize it’s $23.
Tuna Tartare ($16) and Filet Steak Tournedos 8oz ($40) at La Belle Helene
Don’t be confused by the fancy French menu, just order the tuna and the filet.
Sakura Roll ($15) at Yume
This flower shaped roll has salmon, tuna and avocado — a millennial’s dream (along with the number of likes you’ll get when you post it to Instagram).
ShackBurger at Shake Shack
There’s a reason they 1,500 single ShackBurgers on their opening weekend alone.
Squid Ink Linguine at Flour Shop
I love the chorizo in the pasta and make sure to devour Flour Shop’s bread, it’s the best in town.
Point Judith Calamari ($13) at Zeppelin
Perfect amount of sweet and spicy on these large calamari rings.
Maine Lobster Roll ($22) at The Waterman
Huge chunks of juicy lobster.
Double Stack of Hot Cakes ($8) at Superica
Wait, what? Pancakes at a Tex Mex joint? Yes. Weekend brunch only.
Kickback Chicken ($9.50) and Chicken.Set.Go. ($9) at Holler & Dash
Both pack a little kick and you’ll like it.
STP Dipper ($10.09) at Groucho’s Deli
With no veggies — just roast beef, turkey, melted swiss and bacon bits — it’s the perfect order for sweatpants season.
Steamed Bun ($13) and Surf & Turf ($17) at The Stanley
Almost too gorgeous to devour. Almost.
