(QUEEN CITY NEWS) — SouthPark was the most honored area by the North Carolina Downtown Development Association this week.

The inaugural Downtown Excellence Awards recognize outstanding leadership, innovation and impact in downtowns across the state. The awards honor projects, programs and individuals advancing the vitality of downtown or community-center districts.
