Watching Charlotte’s food scene sometimes makes me feel like Dorothy seeing the Good Witch depart Munchkinland: Restaurants come and go so quickly here!

Between chains from far-off cities, expansions by local players, and new food in old places, we could eat at a different restaurant 365 times a year and never reach them all. Instead, I looked back over recent developments and debated which ones make me the most excited. —K.P.
