CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — North Carolina Governor Josh Stein was in Charlotte Monday afternoon, highlighting investments made to prevent opioid deaths in the state.

At Hope Haven, a substance abuse rehabilitation center in northeast Charlotte, Gov. Stein said that opioid settlement funds are helping support people recovering from addiction.
