This fast-casual salad concept is now open in south Charlotte.

Chopt Creative Salad Co.’s third location in the region opens in the Arboretum shopping center.

That 4,900-square-foot restaurant is located at 8022 Providence Road.

Chopt’s menu includes globally-inspired salads and veggie dishes. Every 60 days, it introduces new selections inspired by different regions.

Customers also can craft their own picking from various salad greens and “choppings,” such as carrots, corn, chick-peas, peppers and croutons. Salad dressings are made in-house daily.

The brand also sources ingredients from local artisans, such as Coddle Creek Honey Farms and Holly Grove Dairy Farm for goat cheese.

Chopt opened its first restaurant in New York in 2001. It now operates more than 40 restaurants in New York, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina.

In the Charlotte area, Chopt also operates in the Park Road Shopping Center and Blakeney shopping complex.

Chopt opens daily at 10 a.m.
