Ready to ring 2019 in style? Before you head Uptown to join Charlotte’s premier NYE celebration, there’s dinner to be done. From elegant dining to cocktail soirées, here’s our guide to where to spend New Year’s Eve in Charlotte.

The Stanley

The Stanley is sending off 2018 with a chef-driven menu featuring local ingredients with optional beverage pairings. $85 per person plus tax and gratuity, with beverage pairings an additional $45 per person. Book your reservations by calling 980.299.2741 or email info@thestanleyclt.com.

5 Church

5 Church is your single destination for dining and toasting. Start off with a four-course menu and champagne, then stay for the New year’s Eve party featuring an open bar and buffet, live DJ and dance floor, champagne toast and party favors. A portion of ticket sales will benefit Levine’s Children’s Hospital.

Fahrenheit Charlotte

Welcome the New Year with a premier view of the Uptown skyline at Fahrenheit. Their plated dinner packages include light hors-d’oeuvres, and four-course dinner, two glasses of Luc Bellaire per person, champagne toast and party favors. View the full menu here. Mimosa Grill

Angeline’s

The next day, head to the “Break Your Resolution” brunch to indulge in a pre-fixe menu, a do-it-yourself confection station, Magnum Mimosas and a Bloody Mary bar. Preview the menu here.

Vivace Charlotte

Upstream Seafood

In addition to Upstream’s dinner menu, Executive Chef Sam Diminich will present a selection of specials to toast the New Year. Look forward to dishes like Vadouvan Spiced Sea Scallops, Black Garlic-Mirin Braised Beef Short Rib, Peekytoe Crab and Avocado Salad and Chocolate Torte. Merchant & Trade

Travel back in time to the days of flapping ladies and tricked-out daddies to welcome in the New Year. Merchant and Trade’s celebration includes appetizers to kick off the fun, a dinner buffet, two drink tickets and a midnight champagne toast. 7 p.m. – 1 a.m. Purchase your tickets here, and don’t forget your Gatsby attire!

Harper’s SouthPark and Pineville

Both Harper’s locations will be offering festive holiday specials in addition to their regular menu of creative American cuisine until 10 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. View the special menus for SouthPark here and Pineville here.

The next day, start the year off right with a traditional meal of grilled porterhouse pork chop, collard greens, low country ‘hoppin John’, and cornbread along with the regular menu beginning at 11 a.m. Plan to arrive early as supplies are limited.

Sophia’s Lounge

Your New Year’s Eve at Sophia’s Lounge starts with a five-course tasting menu crafted by Chef Jaime Lynch, plus champagne. Reserve your table here. The Imperial

Ring in the New Year at The Imperial with live jazz in the lounge and the latest hits by DJ Zio on the tented and heated Rooftop Winter Lodge. $25 cover includes admission and a midnight champagne toast. Hello, Sailor

Reserve your table now for a lakeside New year’s Eve dinner featuring their a la carte menu. The next day, enjoy a special brunch menu including milk bread French toast and smoked Appalachian trout. Preview the menu below and reserve your table online here.

Haymaker Restaurant 

Steps away from Uptown Charlotte’s official New Year’s Eve celebration, Haymaker will offer a pre-fixe menu at three seatings: 5:30, 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. Choose from small plate options like smoked chicken thigh with shaved truffle and smoked chili cream, large plates featuring NewYork strip with heirloom winter squash and hakurei turnips plus a sweet finish of chocolate silk pie or parsnip cake for dessert. $65 per person plus tax and gratuity. Le Cochon D’or

In Waxhaw, Le Cochon D’or will offer holiday specials in addition to their regular menu. Diners will also enjoy acoustic guitar by Steve Sav from 6-10 pm.

BLT Steak

Chef De Cuisine Matt Slezak will offer two special menus for both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day highlighting fresh swordfish and lobster, American caviar, filet mignon and a variety of scratch-made desserts. The four-course New Year’s Eve menu will be offered at 7 p.m. for $130. The three-course New Year’s Day menu will be offered from 5:30 – 8 p.m. for $65 per person. View both menus here.
